Most Wanted: gym thief goes on shopping spree

JOHNSON CITY, TN (WJHL) - A recent holiday shopping spree has the attention of Johnson City Police.

On December 4, a man broke into two lockers at the Lifestyles Gym on Marketplace Boulevard.

Police say he stole cash and credit cards and then hit the stores looking for electronics.

"The suspect went to Target and Wal-Mart in Johnson City and purchased over $600 worth of merchandise at both stores," said Steve Sherfey, Johnson City Police.  "The suspect then went to Kingsport and used the card several times."
