Knoxville, Tn - Third-ranked Tennessee moved to 10-0 for the first time since the National Championship season of 2007-08 with a 94-43 victory over Tennessee State on Tuesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Bashaara Graves led the Lady Vols with 17 points as five players scored in double-figures. She was joined by Meighan Simmons (13), Cierra Burdick (12), Isabelle Harrison (12) and Mercedes Russell (12) with 10-plus points. Harrison added 11 points for her third double-double of the season.

Tennessee was dominate in all aspects of the wire-to-wire win: field goal percentage (57.8%-18.9%), rebounds (58-35), assists (27-4), blocks (11-0), points in the paint (54-24), fast break points (18-4) and bench points (37-13). The Lady Vols held TSU to 1-of-22 from 3-point range.

The win by 51 points was the largest of the season and largest since a 53-point win over Alcorn State (90-37) on Nov. 25, 2012.

Tennessee opened the game scoring 17 of the first 18 points and never looked back. Tennessee State was held without a field goal for the first 5:31 of the game. Graves got off to a quick start with eight of the Lady Vols' first 17 points, making her first three shots.

The Lady Vols opened a 27-5 lead on a steal and fast break layup by Simmons with 12 minutes left in the first half. The lead ballooned to 38-9 with eight minutes left in the first half as Graves became the first UT player to hit double-figures.

The Lady Tigers reached double-figures with 5:49 left in the first half on a 3-pointer by Rachel Allen. That made the score, 42-12, Tennessee.

Tennessee led 54-19 at halftime as Graves led all scorers with 14 points.

The lead hit 40 on a Graves' free throw 2:37 into the second half, 61-21.

Tennessee took a 50-plus point lead on a Russell layup with five minutes left for an 88-37 advantage.

Tennessee State (3-8) was led by Rachel Allen, who scored 12.

Tennessee will face its stiffest of the season in its next game as the Lady Vols travel to No. 6 Stanford for a Saturday tilt which tips at 4:30 p.m. ET.
