Dollar General robbed in Duplin County

The Duplin County Sheriff’s office says a suspect tried to rob the Dollar General in Faison this morning.

They tell 9 On Your Side the attempted robbery happened at the Faison store just after 8am Monday. Nobody was injured, and the suspect did not get away with any money or merchandise.

Deputies think the suspect left in a Chevy Tahoe. The vehicle and the suspect are pictured in the slideshow above.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. If you have any information about the robbery call the sheriff’s department at 910-296-2150.

This is the third Dollar General robbed since Friday night. 

On Sunday deputies from the Greene County Sheriff's Office investigated an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Highway 13 South.

Friday evening deputies in Craven County, along with Vanceboro Police investigated an armed robbery at the Vanceboro Dollar General.  

Duplin County Deputies are contacting other agencies to see if this robbery is connected.
