A thief who stole a car while a toddler slept inside was still on the run with the vehicle on Monday night, a Jackson Police Department Spokesperson said.
The three-year-old was dropped off at the 5300 block of Keele Street near the intersection of Lebanon Drive, the spokesperson said.
The theft happened around 7:00 p.m at the McDonalds at 3903 Hanging Moss Road, the spokesperson said.
No description is available. Police have not said if they have any leads or suspects.
Authorities say the stolen car is a Tan-colored Nissan Sentra with a license plate reading "HQC-218".
