Are you ready for a deep freeze, Mississippi?
Starting this weekend, temperatures will begin a nosedive that will continue through next week.
This cold weather will really start to kick-in Monday, but temperatures will still be chilly Saturday night and into Sunday. During the overnight hours Monday into Tuesday, the area will experience the most significant drop as temperatures dip into the teens.
A hard freeze could be likely across some areas of the state.
