John L. Jones, who's age was not released, was found in Lake Village, Arkansas just after 11 p.m. on Friday night, Holmes County Sheriff Willie March said.

A Village Lake police officer noticed the vehicle described in the Silver Alert when it crossed a bridge out of Washington County, Mississippi, March said.

Jones had last been seen on Thursday around the noontime hour, according to the Silver Alert.

The man was found driving the vehicle described in the alert: a 2007 Chevy HHR with a personalized Jackson State University license plate, March said.
