UPDATE - 1/10/14, 3:30pm: Investigator Palmer with the Crystal Springs Police Department tells us the gun that was reported at Crystal Springs High School has be recovered by police. The pistol was taken away from the school as first thought by police. A third student has been arrested and is believed to be the one that took the gun away form campus. No additional arrest are anticipated.
Two students in 10th and 12th grade at Crystal Springs High School were arrested and brought to Henly-Young Youth Detention Center Wednesday.
Investigator Chris Palmer says one of the students brought his father's pistol on the campus and handed it to another student. "After talking to the student we think this might have been a bullying incident, but it is still under investigation," says Palmer.
Police then searched the school, but didn't retrieve the gun.
Palmer says a third student could be arrested for possession of a weapon.
However, the weapon is off campus and no students are in danger, according to officials.
All students involved will be charged with possession of a weapon.
