Bonds of $175,000 each have been set for two men charged with first-degree murder in a fatal shooting in Vicksburg.
The Vicksburg Post reports (
) that Municipal Judge Toni Terrett set the bonds for Morris Anthony Davis and David Matthew Reed after an initial court appearance Wednesday.
The men are accused of the fatal shooting of Michael Robinson and the wounding two other men during a Dec. 7 party at the American Legion Post 3 hall.
Reed and Davis are each charged with two counts each of aggravated assault in the wounding of Wade Carter and Charles Brooks. Bond was set at $125,000 each on those counts.
Vicksburg police Sgt. Troy Kimble says investigators believe Carter and Brooks were innocent bystanders.
