Pig attacked by dogs finds a foster home

In California, an injured pig is doing much better after being attacked by several dogs.

The pig was taken to an animal shelter after someone found him injured with no owners around.

The city's animal control says the little guy named Captain Trufflesnout was in pretty bad shape and even lost an eye.

But with help from the shelter the little oinking captain is improving every day.

"Overall he seems to be doing great,” said Officer Jace Huggins, Sacramento Animal Control.  “He's eating like a pig."

Captain Truffelsnout is now heading to a foster home with one of the animal control officers.
