Wake Schools announces snow make-up days for Thursday

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The Wake County Public School System has announced inclement weather make-up days for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's school cancellations.

For Tuesday's snow day, here are Wake County's make-up days:

  • Traditional and modified-calendar schools will make up on Feb. 17.
  • Leadership academies and early colleges will make up on May 29.
  • Multi-track year-round (Tracks 1, 2 and 4) will make up Saturday, Feb. 1.
  • Single-track year-round schools will make up Saturday, Feb. 1.
  • The make-up day for year-round schools is this Saturday.

For Wednesday's snow day, here are Wake County's make-up days:

  • Traditional calendar schools will make up on April 21.
  • Modified calendar schools will make up on March 10.
  • Leadership academies and early colleges will make up on May 30.
  • All year-round schools (Tracks 1, 2 and 4) will make up on Saturday, May 31.

For Thursday's snow day, the make-up days are:

  • Traditional calendar dchools: will make up Friday, March 28
  •  Modified calendar schools will make up Tuesday, March 11
  •  Leadership Academies/ Early Colleges will make up Monday, Feb. 17
  •  All year-round Schools (Tracks 1, 2, and 4) will be announced later
  • There will be no make-up day for Track 3 students, who were not in session on Jan. 30.

Wake County Schools says there will be no make-up day for Track 3 students, who were not in session on Tuesday or Wednesday.

For make-up days scheduled on Saturdays, bus pick-up times will follow the regular weekday schedule.
