Natasha Stewart's Depraved Heart Murder Trial

A Hinds County jury has found Natasha Stewart, also known as "Pebbelz da Model," guilty of culpable negligence manslaughter and conspiracy to commit culpable negligence manslaughter.
Stewart was found not guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
This stems from the 2012 death 37-year-old Karima Gordon.Gordon died from blood clots in her lungs after receiving a silicone buttocks injection.
Stewart faces up to 20 years in prison for each charge.We’re told a sentencing date will be scheduled in the next few weeks.
---------------------------------------- Natasha Stewart's fate is in the hands of a jury. Stewart, also known as Pebbelz Da Model, is on trial, charged with depraved heart murder for the death of Karima Gordon.
Officials say Gordon died in March of 2012 from complications following illegal buttocks enhancement injections. They allege Stewart set up the injection.
Stewart took the stand in her own defense Friday afternoon. She admitted to setting up the meeting between Gordon and Tracey Lynn Garner. Garner will stand trial in March for allegedly administering the illegal injection.
Stewart said on the stand she's received more than 20 buttocks injections from Garner, and she's never had any ill effects. She also said Garner introduced herself as an RN.
