Posted: Updated:

Raleigh

The city is working Friday to complete any missed garbage and recycling collections from Wednesday.

Garbage and recycling routes for Thursday  will be collected on Saturday  and routes for Friday  will be collected on Monday.

All yard waste collections have been suspended until Tuesday, Feb. 18, as garbage and recycling collections receive first priority in the current circumstances

Durham

The City of Durham Solid Waste Management Department plans to make up collections for Wednesday and Thursday customers on Saturday, road conditions permitting.

Only trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday. Bulky items and yard waste collections normally scheduled for Friday will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled collection day. The City's Waste Disposal and Recycling Center will also be open during its regular business hours on Saturday.

Trash and recycling collection on Saturday will only occur if the Sampson County landfill, which accepts the City's daily collections of trash, is open tomorrow.
