New system allows parents to silently and easily browse their children's mobile activities

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Retina-X Studios, LLC announced today the immediate availability of PhoneSheriff Investigator Edition for monitoring iOS devices. Using this cutting-edge computer software, parents can monitor their child's incoming and outgoing text messages, iMessages and call information from iPhone or iPad without a jailbreak. No app is installed to the actual device being monitored.

Monitoring software for iPhone and iPad devices typically require a jailbreak to function. PhoneSheriff Investigator ditches this requirement, along with the need to install any app whatsoever to the device being monitored. The system instead allows parents to browse their child's device activities inside a small computer application.

On the child's device there is no application needed for the monitoring to take place. After a few cloud settings are changed on the device, monitoring can begin. Parents install the small computer application and insert their Apple ID and Password. Inside they can view the complete contents of SMS text messages and iMessages, call histories, photos, GPS location, contacts, notes and more. The Apple ID and Password are never sent back to the developer.

"For years, parents have asked us for a way to monitor activity without a jailbreak," states Craig Thompson, Media Relations Director for Retina-X Studios. "Today we are proud to announce PhoneSheriff Investigator as the world's first iPhone monitoring software which does not require a jailbreak. Neither does it need an app installed on the monitored device. Nor does a customer send their Apple ID or password to us."

This exclusive software gives parents the ability to silently monitor their child's activities performed on iPhone, iPad or iPod devices. By seeing activities such as the complete contents of every text message and iMessage sent or received, parents gain insight to their teen's online and offline behavior. Using this insight can help them ensure their child's safety.

The PhoneSheriff Investigator application is now available for Windows computers running Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. A Mac OS version of the application is currently in development and will be released in the coming months. More information about PhoneSheriff Investigator can be found at http://www.phonesheriff.com/investigator.html.

The Investigator edition is a separate version of PhoneSheriff monitoring and filtering software for smartphones and tablets. The software allows parents to monitor and restrict activities on Android, iOS and BlackBerry devices. PhoneSheriff won dual 2014 TopTenREVIEWS Gold Awards in the Cell Phone Parental Control and Cell Phone Monitoring categories.
