Students in Johnson City are going to have make up some of the days they have missed due to snow.
Johnson City Schools have missed eight days due inclement weather so far this school year.
The Johnson City Board of Education has decided to make-up five of those missed days.
One day was made up yesterday on President's Day, the other days that students will now be required to go to school are:
Monday March 31st
Friday April 18th
Tuesday May 27th
Wednesday May 28th
According to Dr. Debra Bentley with Johnson City Schools, "Any days missed from this point on....we will not make up... because Johnson City Schools goes on a seven hour student day. so we will be using that extra time we go each day toward any future cancellations of school."
Bentley says that no make up days will be taken away from students spring break in March.
