NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte today announced the opening of its first U.S. Deloitte Greenhouse in Chicago.
The Deloitte Greenhouse is an advanced, immersive environment designed to accelerate breakthroughs. It combines behavioral methods, analytics, technology and experienced facilitation to create an experience that can bring about extraordinary results for clients. The Deloitte Greenhouse is designed as a place for cultivation – of ideas, of relationships and of opportunities.
A collaborative effort between the current Deloitte Client Experience (DCE) Labs, the Deloitte Analytics Highly Immersive Visual Environment (HIVE) and Deloitte Consulting Innovation (DCI) experiences, the Deloitte Greenhouse will integrate a suite of unique client and internal offerings into one dynamic space – both existing and new – that Deloitte currently delivers at separate and independent facilities.
Deloitte also announced its plans to open Greenhouses in other locations, including Silicon Valley, Washington, D.C., Deloitte University (Westlake, Texas) and New York City.
"We are excited to announce the opening of the first Deloitte Greenhouse in Chicago and look forward to future openings throughout 2014 and beyond," said Diana O'Brien, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and Deloitte's Market Development Leader. "The Deloitte Greenhouse provides a unique space that integrates and elevates our existing capabilities in analytics and innovation to create exceptional experiences that help our clients and our people achieve breakthroughs."
The Deloitte Greenhouse is designed to engage participants physically, intellectually and emotionally. The space is highly customizable and set up to promote interaction. Using a combination of writeable walls, oversize visuals, touch monitors, 3D printing and moveable whiteboards, participants can innovate in both high- and low-tech ways. The space is designed to support small and large groups concurrently. According to Cushing Anderson, VP of Consulting, HR and Learning Services research at IDC, "Deloitte's U.S. Greenhouse expansion builds on an existing global network of Greenhouses. Combining an environment that fosters creativity with approaches and experience to help innovate across a range of issues-leadership, relationships, strategies-it is a very powerful combination for their enterprise clients. IDC believes clients who engage with these Greenhouses will uncover highly relevant insights and develop more successful approaches to complex challenges."
