PINELLAS PARK, FL (WFLA) -

Charles Clark, 83, was attacked and stabbed two days ago in Pinellas Park. A day later his car was reported stolen.

Two out of the three teens involved in the crime have been arrested, however the third suspect in this case, 15-year-old Jazmin Burney is still at large.

Burney's father, Ernest Burney, says he spoke with his daughter last night. She did not tell him where she was.

"I told her the best thing that she could do is turn herself in," he said. "I prefer for her to turn herself in or come home other than the police catching up with her, because you never know what they might do to her. You don't know what she might try and do by being scared. I just don't want her to get hurt."

"She just said she was going to turn herself in because it's making her look bad by her running. And I told her, I said, 'no, it's making you look bad by what was done.'"

Burney says his daughter denied her involvement in the crimes, but he doesn't buy it.

"I feel like, those kids are not babies. I feel like they knew what they were doing," Burney said. "If they wanted to drive a car that bad, so they go beat up an old man. When you're wrong, you're wrong."

Police first arrested 16-year-old Antonio Petersen on Wednesday afternoon. He denied stabbing the man but admitted to taking the car. Then, his brother, 13-year-old Xavier Peterson turned himself in to Pinellas County deputies late Wednesday night at the corner of 53rd Avenue and 34th Street North.

The deputies contacted Pinellas Park Police and PPPD detectives arrested Xavier. He told detectives he was not involved in the stabbing attack but participated in the car theft.

He was charged with the grand theft auto and taken to the juvenile assessment center.

Detectives continue to investigate.
