6,000 pounds of copper stolen from a Roanoke business

Roanoke Police are looking for a group of people who stole about 6,000 pounds of copper.

The theft happened on Ferguson Enterprises on Blue Ridge Drive. Security footage from nearby businesses showed two suspect vehicles. One is a box truck belonging to Southern Air, and the other is a silver SUV. The box truck has been found in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Police have provided surveillance footage of several suspects from the Sheetz store in Salem.
