Vinton Police Dept. investigates burglary

VINTON - The Town of Vinton Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying suspects involved in a burglary/grand larceny.

It happened yesterday, April 13th, around 3:27 a.m. at the Alvaro's Market, located on 1002 Walnut Ave.

Two suspects forced their way into the business and stole a large amount of cigarettes before leaving the store.

They were last seen getting in a red, new model sedan.

If anyone has information, please call the Criminal Investigations Division at (540) 983-0617 ext. 169.

Anonymous tips can be left through online reporting or by calling our Crime Stoppers Anonymous Tip Hotline at (540) 345-9508.
