All-American Marathon road closures

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The All-American Marathon and Mike to Mike Half Marathon will be held Sunday in Fayetteville and Fort Bragg, and a number of roads will be closed to facilitate the race route.

The official start time for the marathon and half marathon is 6:30 a.m. Racers will run up Ray Avenue to Hay Street, where they will run through downtown Fayetteville past the Market House. The route will then take runners up past the N.C. Veterans Park and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum.

The following roads will be closed to traffic during the marathon:

  • Both directions of Ray Avenue between Rowan and Hay streets
  • Both directions of Hay Street between Ray Avenue and the Market House
  • One block of Person Street at the Market House
  • Both directions of Green Street
  • Both directions of Rowan Street between Green Street and Bragg Boulevard
  • Both direction of Bragg Boulevard between Grove and Hay streets
  • Both directions of Hay Street starting at Bragg Boulevard and continuing until it turns into Morganton Road
  • Both directions of Morganton Road from Dobbin Park to the All-American Expressway
  • The southbound lanes of the All-American Expressway between Morganton Road and Fort Bragg
