93-year-old veteran parachutes over Normandy 70 years later

Normandy, France -
Jim "Pee Wee" Martin, of the 101st Airborne, parachuted into Normandy June 6, 1944. Now, 70 years later, the 93-year-old did it again.
For the D-Day anniversary, he boarded a C-47 not much different than the one he boarded in England on that fateful day so long ago.
Like his old comrades from the 101st airborne Martin first parachuted into Normandy on a dark night with enemy soldiers shooting at him. Martin said, "People think you come back and you are all emotional about it and I am not that way about it."
He told CNN reporter Jim Bitterman, "I am kind of humbled and embarrassed at the adulation because I don't feel that we did anything that we weren't supposed to do or anything exceptional." He says he did what he was trained to do.
After the successful jump he said, "I am 93 and I can still do it. I just wanted to show all the people that you don't sit and die just because you get old."
