Jack Britt senior won't get diploma after graduation prank

Posted: Updated:
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A senior from Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville will not receive his diploma after stripping down to his underwear at his graduation ceremony.

Cumberland County School Superintendent Dr. Frank Till said Thursday that Quinton Murphy would not get his diploma.

Murphy stripped down to his underwear at Wednesday’s graduation.

There are five more graduations for Cumberland County Schools and Till warned students who may have similar prank ideas that there will be “long-term consequences.”
