MCCOMB, Miss. - An Entergy lineman is still in the hospital after he received an electric shock while working in McComb on Wednesday.

Officials say they are investigating it and trying to figure out exactly what happened. The company released this statement on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 regarding the accident: 

The Entergy family is sending our thoughts and prayers to one of our employees, who was involved in an accident this morning near McComb. The employee was rushed to the hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. Our safety team is working to determine the cause of the accident. Right now, however, our immediate focus is the employee, his family and his coworkers.
