A Jackson woman is in shock after bullets whiz through her Hill Avenue home.
C.J. Warner, 93, says she could hear the bullets flying past her head while she was in bed Tuesday night.
Her house is riddled with bullet holes. One of those bullet holes was just inches above the head of the bed where she was lying down. We’re told the woman sitting with her through the night called Jackson Police.
Warren, who’s lived at the house for nearly 50 years, says Jackson Police told her that it was probably a case of mistaken identity, and that her house, most likely, was not the target the suspects were looking for.
We reached out to Jackson Police about the incident, but they’ve yet to get back to us.
