4 Suspects Arrested in Connection with Vicksburg Armed Robbery

VICKSBURG, Miss. - Vicksburg Police arrested four people connected to an armed robbery that occurred at the Quick Cash on Pemberton Boulevard.

Police say two clerks were inside when two men entered the store, jumped the counter taking cash from the register. One of the suspects had a weapon.

Witnesses told officers that the robbers left driving and older model Cadillac. The getaway car was found abandoned at a Pizza Hut less than a quarter mile from the robbery.

Investigators were able to recover a handgun and some of the stolen money. Four people were charged in connection with the crime.

23-year-old Jasmine Simmons, 18-year-old Devonte Tolliver, 25-year-old A.C. Washington, and 21-year-old Brittany Ward are all charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery. 

Vicksburg Police also obtained a warrant from Lafayette Police Department in Louisiana for the arrest of Tolliver for burglary. Bond was set at $500,000 for the burglary charge.

Tolliver, along with the other suspects will be arraigned in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday.
