"I know that God called me. He chose me. He relocated me all the way from Illinois to be here in Mississippi. Even when I tried to leave, you know? There was a purpose for me to be here," Bailey said. "I know that God called me. He chose me. He relocated me all the way from Illinois to be here in Mississippi. The name of this weekend's church is Purposed Life Ministries and the people who attend say the emphasis really is on that word: purpose.

How often do you think about your goals? Your dreams?

Maybe in church you reflect on big life choices but are you thinking about how to get where you want to be at places like the grocery store? When your taking out the trash?

The pastor at the Clinton church says that 'drive' plus worship is putting FAITH IN FOCUS.

A number of people at Purposed Life Ministries admit they just like the energy there. There are constant reminders to improve yourself. And Jermiracle Bailey, a young woman originally from Rockford, Illinois, says being a part of the church is helping her realize the depths of here faith after a tough childhood.

"My mom was on drugs and my dad, he sold drugs. So I grew up without either of my parents being active in my life," Bailey said.

"My grandmother raised me but she had five other kids of her own. She had my other two sisters. I always wanted to make it easier for her so I started working at 12," Bailey said.

Pastor Friday says - within every single person - the best version of themselves is lying dormant. Through preaching, guidance, and encouragement - he says his goal is to bring that better person out.

"We want them to have faith in God and believe that God will actually change them. Even if they don't recognize what's going on at the time in their life because most people don't understand what's happening in their life when the conversion happens," Pastor Friday.

"Right now I'm really realizing that I have a purpose," Bailey said.

"And I'm realizing that God wants to use my life as a message. And I know that I have a platform here in Mississippi. I know that something in my life can help others. And it's starting to all make sense," Bailey said.

"I know that God called me. He chose me. He relocated me all the way from Illinois to be here in Mississippi. Even when I tried to leave, you know? There was a purpose for me to be here," Bailey said.

It's a very young church - we're talking about the ages, not the level of experience. Pastor Friday says he's been a part of the community in Clinton for 17 years and he's been working on his approach to the ministry for that long.
