Former Hinds County Deputy Circuit Court Clerk Arrested for Altering Public Records

JACKSON, Miss. - A Terry resident has been arrested for creating false public records while serving as Hinds County Deputy Circuit Court Clerk, according to Attorney General Jim Hood.

32-year-old Kimberly Keonna Gibson, also know as Kimberly Keonna Turner has been arrested following indictment by a Hinds County Grand Jury.

The indictment says that Gibson altered marriage records to show she was married when she was not. Officials say she allegedly altered the records while she was a deputy circuit court clerk.

Gibson is accused of altering records to show she was legally married to a Department of Corrections inmate in order to have conjugal visits. She was arrested at her home.
