  Former Tennessee,  and now Auburn Head Basketball Coach Bruce Pearl,  was in our neck of the woods this week for the Niswonger Children's Hospital Golf Classic.

 For Pearl, he is faced with a new challenge of getting Auburn basketball back to prominence, while still under scrutiny by the NCAA.

 As for Bruce, he may have moved down to the plains at Auburn, but some part of him is still on Rocky Top.


According to Pearl, "You know being at Auburn...it won't take anything away from what we accomplished at Tennessee...and I am a Vol For Life in a lot of ways....we've got friends and family and that is going to live forever....and I really think that people really care about stuff like that. So I think some Tennessee fans will root for us  but not when we play Tennessee and that is how it should be...and I am actually going to root for Tennessee...but not when we are playing against them...."
