BENTON, Arkansas - The Arkansas bank bandit is now behind bars. Richard Swicegood, 37, of Texas, was arrested by Arkansas State Police today, in connection with Tuesday's Summit Bank Robbery. Police caught up to Swicegood during a traffic stop and say he was driving a red Ford Mustang with Texas license plates. Authorities say Swicegood is also connected to two other robberies at the same bank in 2009 and 2011. He has been charged with 11 counts of aggravated robbery, three counts of theft, and one count of using another person's property to facilitate a crime.
