32-year-old Marcus Randall was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute within 15-hundred feet of a church. 21-year-old Khamari Alexander and 54-year-old Errol Mann are both charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Over a three-day period, methamphetamine, four ounces of crack cocaine, 10 pounds of marijuana, an assault rifle, and about $20,000 in cash were seized in three separate busts.

Interim JPD Police Chief Lee Vance says working with hinds county is proving to make a difference.

"We are targeting some of the same people, so why not combine our resources. It's a very efficient use of manpower and it helps us to be even stronger when we go after these drug dealers," said Vance.

The busts happened on Beaverbrook Drive, Metrocenter Mall, and along Highway 80.
