Blake Levine

Blake Levine joined the WJTV team in December of 2020 as a Sports Reporter and News Anchor.  After graduating from Syracuse University’s famed S.I. Newhouse School of Journalism & Public Communication in 2017, he began his professional career as a News Reporter and Producer at WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida.  After two years of covering news and sports in North Florida and South Georgia, he transitioned to The Delta News Team at WABG in Greenville, Mississippi as a member of its two-person sports reporting team.  It was then that Blake realized that Mississippi was what he loved and where he wanted to live and work, so when WJTV called about joining their team, Blake was primed to make the move to Jackson, the Magnolia State’s capital.  Clearly, he’s loved every minute of it.

In addition to Blake’s love for both professional and collegiate sports, he’s always been an unabashed fan of high school athletics and the local energy and purity it brings to the public.  It’s the same energy and candor our viewers will experience during every moment of Blake’s on-air reporting.

Blake was born and bred in Los Angeles, California, has one brother, enjoys playing basketball, weight training, hunting, and loves visiting his family in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.
