Garret Dewayne Grove is from the Jackson metro area. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Journalism and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He was involved with Southern Miss Student Media at USM for two years, with reporting and leadership roles at SM2.
Before becoming a Digital Reporter at WJTV 12 News, he also worked at the Madison County Journal, Alabama Magazine, and WDAM 7 through internships while in undergrad.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends in his free time, reading, writing, cooking, and gaming.
