Jeremy Harrell is the Weekend Anchor at WJTV 12 News in Jackson. He comes from our sister station KTVE NBC-10 in Monroe, Louisiana, where he served as Weekend Anchor and Producer.
Jeremy is a Mississippi native and a Mass Communication Graduate of Alcorn State University. He currently serves as Assistant Principal at Tylertown High School in Tylertown, Mississippi. While at Tylertown High, he also served as the head boys and girls basketball coach. He’s led the teams to many district titles and has been selected Coach of the Year eight times. He has a passion for educating young minds.
Jeremy is no stranger to the Metro area. He spent most of his childhood years in the heart of Jackson. In his spare time, he likes to watch college basketball, read, listen to music, and enjoy a good church service.
