2 Lamar County high schools move to virtual learning

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Leaders with the Lamar County School District announced two high schools will move to virtual learning due to COVID-19 outbreaks.

According to the district, Purvis High School and Oak Grove High School will move to virtual learning starting Monday, August 2, 2021.

In-person instruction is expected to resume on August 16, 2021.
