JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Governor Tate Reeves held a daily COVID-19 briefing to update the state’s progress with flattening the curve.

He announced that he was satisfied with the state’s progress moving forward, but he said more work needs to be done. That includes testing at long term care facilities.

Last week, the governor said his team set a goal to test all of Mississippi’s nursing homes in a two week period. He announced that they’re a little over halfway done with the tests.
