JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) –  Every week 12 News features three animals looking to be adopted in Mississippi. These animals are available at the Mississippi Animal Rescue League and the Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi (ARF).

ARF is looking for Mayday’s new owner.

Mayday is characterized by her grey muzzle and short, stubby legs. ARF said she is crate trained and good with other dogs and cats. She loves go on walks and enjoys riding in cars.

She was found at the Neshoba County Fairgrounds before the fair started on May 1. The shelter was unable to find her owner.

Choo Choo

Choo Choo is an 11 month old Collie mix. He is utd on shots and will be neutered once he is adopted. He is a great dog and SUPER sweet! He is housebroken and would love a home where he can live inside and have access to a fenced in backyard. His adoption fee is $100. He is also great with children.


Meet Trevor! He is a super friendly 1 year old Border Collie mix. He was brought in at the beginning of November as a stray and his owners never called to claim him. He is utd on shots and will be neutered once he is adopted. He is about 35 lbs. He will need a fenced in backyard at his new home with space to exercise and play. His adoption fee is $100.


Luna is a beauty! She is a 10 week old short haired Torti. She is super sweet and loves other cats. She is calm and loves to be held. She would make a great addition to your family.
