All lanes of traffic were blocked on I-55 South near Elton Road Thursday morning after two separate accidents.
Our crews were there as the vehicles were getting ready to be towed away from the first incident involving a flipped vehicle.
The first crash happened just before 8 a.m., involving a red and sliver car.
The second crash happened a short time later. Law enforcement was on the scene directing traffic.
