JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area along with several banks are building a home on Greenview Drive.
Seven banks are joining together for Bankers Build to sponsor the house and are providing volunteers for its construction.
This is the second Habitat House for Greenview Drive. Organizers said collaborating for a second time also reaffirms the banking community’s commitment to building the future of Greenview Drive and South Jackson. WJTV got the chance to stop by Thursday for media day for the second home.
The banks involved are Trustmark, Wells Fargo, Regions, BancorpSouth, Origin Bank, Renasant Bank, and First Commercial Bank.
