JACKSON, MS (WJTV) – Today is the late B.B. King’s birthday and what better way to celebrate than name a street after the blues legend?
That’s just what city leaders did in Memphis. The portion of the intersection at Third and Beale Streets was renamed by the city to honor B.B. King.
The B.B. King museum is also celebrating his birthday tonight in Indianola, MS. People will be able to view footage of the legend live and in action
King would have 90 years old.
Back here in Jackson, MS, people running in next year’s Mississippi Blues Marathon will receive a medal with the late B.B. King playing the guitar.
