BILOXI, Miss. – A longtime school system educator has been named superintendent of Biloxi’s 6,300-student public school district.
The Sun Herald reports the district’s school board voted Thursday to hire 42-year-old Marcus Boudreaux at a salary of $140,000 a year.
Boudreaux, the principal at Biloxi High School, replaces interim superintendent Larry Drawdy, who agreed to fill the post temporarily after the resignation last May of Arthur McMillan. McMillan had held the job for eight years.
