JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – On Monday, Jackson police said a body was found in the woods near the Walmart on Greenway Drive.
Officer Sam Brown said the body was discovered by a homeless person. Investigators believe the victim froze to death during last week’s ice storm.
There were no signs of trauma to the body. The death is under investigation.
