Brandon neighborhood spreads cheer through painted rocks and shells

News

BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Neighbors in the Cornerstone community in Brandon are doing what they can to lift the spirits of others.

In August, Adalyne Herrington started putting post-it notes on mailboxes. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the community picked the idea back up but this time, they’re using painted rocks and shells.

The rocks and shells have been placed along the streets for people to read or keep.
