City of Jackson lifts precautionary boil water notice

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – After a three-day precautionary boil water notice was placed into effect, the City of Jackson announced that the notice has been lifted.

On Friday, over 60,000 connections in 12 different zip codes were placed under the notice after city officials say the O.B. Curtis Water Treatment Plant was experiencing a low flow.
