Calhoun named president of Mississippi Association of Supervisors


HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — Hinds County Supervisor Peggy Calhoun is named the president of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors.

She is the first black woman to hold the position.

The association represents all 82 counties in the state.

Calhoun says she is honored to lead the organization and will continue the work of the group.
