UPDATE: Heath Hall with Madison County Sheriff’s Department confirms three people are dead following a drowning near Little Dixie Sanitary Landfill.
Thirty-seven-year-old Bobby Gooden and 17-year-old Jaquarus Polk are the two of three drowning victims.
The third victim will not be released until family is notified.
MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV)- Authorities are on the scene of a possible drowning incident.
Officials were called near Little Dixie Landfill on N County Line Rd. around 5:15 Sunday evening.
Family members tell us that three people drowned and one survived after a canoe turned over in the water.
