Dog rescued from McComb sewage lagoon being put up for adoption

MCCOMB, Miss. (WJTV) — The McComb dog that was rescued from the sewage lagoon earlier this month is being put up for adoption.

An officer with McComb’s Animal Control Department tells us that Logan is doing better.

Logan and two other dogs got stuck in the sewage lagoon and he was only one who survived.

The officer tells us that Logan is learning to walk on a leash and is great with other dogs.

We’re told that no one has claimed Logan yet, so the McComb Animal Shelter wants a family to adopt him. They said the adoption fee is $50. It’s suggested that Logan goes to a home with no small children.

Anyone interested can contact the McComb Shelter at 601.6684.3602. They can also contact them through the shelter’s Facebook page.
