JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Jackson Police are looking for a person in connection with an accident that left one person dead Wednesday night.
JPD responded to a crash at the intersection of Boling Street and Michael Avalon Street around 10:35 p.m.
37-year-old Nekeith Newsome died at the scene. Newsome was driving a Toyota Corolla that was involved in an accident with a silver Ford Crown Victoria.
Police said the person driving the Ford got out of the car and left the scene before they arrived.
They said they want to question the owner of the car, Quentin Brown. They believe that Brown is from the Yazoo City area.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
