FEMA awards $5.8M to Mississippi


JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – On Friday, U.S. Representative Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded $5.8 million to Mississippi.

The funds will go toward the emergency protective measures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
