Former nursing home employee indicted for embezzlement


JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A former employee of the Adams County Nursing Center has been arrested for embezzlement of a controlled substance.

Kimberly Lindsey, 41, of Natchez, was the Director of Nursing at the nursing center. She is being accused of embezzling Hydrocodone according to Attorney General Jim Hood.

Lindsey turned herself into the Adams County Sheriff’s Office after an indictment by the Adams County Grand Jury.

Lindsey’s bond was set at $10,000.

Lindsey faces up to five years behind bars and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
