JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — It’s a weekend garage sale with a twist, and everyone is invited.
Organizers say anything not nailed to the ground must go.
Habitat for Humanity is holding its Not Nailed Down sale this weekend. The organization is opening its warehouse up to the public, selling new and used items that have accumulated over the years.
The warehouse is full of things used in the habitat home building process. Habitat is selling everything from construction materials, to appliances, furniture and more. The proceeds from the sale will go directly towards the organization to help build more homes.
“Anything we do at Habitat ultimately goes back into our projects and our work because you know there is always that someone needs to be as we like to stay home for the holidays,” said Merrill Mckewen executive director for Habitat for Humanity MS.
The warehouse is on Stonewall Street in Jackson. The sale starts at 8 a.m. Saturday and items will be sold by cash or card only.
