HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the Hattiesburg Police Department and Law Enforcement Torch Run Officers® are teaming up to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Athletes of Mississippi. 

This is part of a nationwide event Krispy Kreme shops will participate in called Cops on Doughnut Shops® in partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run®.

On June 6th, officers will eat and play on the rooftop of the Hardy St. Krispy Kreme from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Special Olympians and volunteers will collect donations from customers down below.

The City of Hattiesburg and Law Enforcement Torch Run® hope to raise $750 during the event. 

Customers who donate $5 or more to the cause will get a treat from Krispy Kreme. Donating $1,000 or more will earn a Krispy Kreme doughnut party.

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation and local law enforcement officers have worked together for the past 15 years for the annual Cops on Doughnut Shops® program, collecting over a million dollars.
